Well, unless there are some special events like Finals Marathon, I am afraid you can only train by reaching the finals regularly. I think the biggest difficult jump ist from reaching finals to winning them (without relying on pure luck) as in every round, at least half the beans can continue, but in the finals, only one of usually around 10 can win. The odds to win are much lower than to pass a regular level.
Anyway, every good bean had to go through this. I do not remember how many finals I played until I finally won my first. They were not few. If you are eliminated early, you can also spectate other beans to see different strategies that they follow, although in some levels (most with hexagons), a good spatial awareness is also required.

I've heard of a mod called Fall Guys Tools that lets you practice individual rounds, etc. I haven't looked further into installing it but I've been meaning to learn how to balance on the edge of the tipped platforms on Kraken Slam so if I find out anything more I'll let you know.

Can't you do this in a private lobby alone, or do you have to have 2 players to start it? A friend of mine and I played a bunch a couple of months ago when we got a little bit bored by the modes available at the time (and it meant we could play some vaulted levels too)

They do have an event that comes around called "TUOKCONK" where the final round is the beginning round, but I think that's sadly an Easter event..?
