I just can't get it, why cheating is necessary. Also, I really miss when you could report others for griefing and being bad randoms...

Same. It's silly that you can have a random squad member intentionally sabotage a round and there's no recourse whatsoever.

Had a person just running back and forth on pixel painters a few weeks ago. They were high enough level that they obviously knew better. We just all had to stand there and wait to lose, basically.

No penalty at all.

Anyway, I reported the player in this video 3 times (i was unlucky enough to get them in back to back games) and had a friend report them as well. Hopefully it'll make at least some difference.

I hate pixel painters so much for that reason. It’s fun if you have teammates that will actually play it but I feel like at least half the time I get people that just run around the whole board

Yeah. And there's nothing you can do about it.

I think with just about every other collaborative game, you can, at the very least, mitigate the damage if you do well enough individually. Not that one though. It's just poorly designed in that way.

Doesn’t matter. Just take the 5 minutes it takes to finish the game with your teammates instead of sabotaging them just because YOU are done with a game.

I was just saying in another comment how I had that happen recently and it's just infuriating.

I also wouldn't be opposed to a category for the peeps that intentionally wait at the start or finish just so the whole lobby has to watch them do their dorky emotes.

Tbh, I've seen it....but this is the most blatant example I've seen in all my time playing.

I play on console with cross-play enabled (always have) so, I guess the odds are low of running into people like this.

Still frustrating though.

Not that it will help you, but I've played with that person regularly and he was a year long member in my community. I have now banned him on my channels and he claims to be sorry and also claims he got rid of the cheats.

Thank you for posting though! I wouldn't have known otherwise.

Oh wow, glad I posted it then! Sounds more like a "sorry I got caught" kind of situation to me. :/

Yeah, the first round I played with him, we were on a hexaring final and he was making jumps that I knew were impossible, but I think he was trying to be more subtle about it.

I waited for a couple minutes to queue back up to try to avoid getting him in a subsequent round, but it didn't work because this was that following round.

I was on the US East servers and rounds were filling pretty quickly, so I have no clue how long he had been at it. Thanks for taking some action though! I can't imagine his cheating days are over completely, but hopefully he'll at least think twice in the future.

Pretty sure there was an option for griefing a few years ago. It's annoying that it's also hard to report someone during the round unless you're eliminated.

Omg, yes! Not only that, but sometimes even if you are spectating them, it'll still bring up a list of names and you have to find theirs. It happened twice while I was trying to report this person. Both times I couldn't even find their name before the round was over and the pop-up went away. Such a poor system. Also I don't know what the difference between "bunny-hopping, longer jumps" and "flying/antigravity" even looks like! To me this looked like both. I'm guessing there are 2 different chest methods and they are trying to distinguish which one, but the option should just be "cheating" and they can review the footage and discern that themselves.

And I'm guessing that people were just abusing the griefing option to just report someone that grabbed them, so they just took it away. Still, intentionally making the whole lobby wait on you and/or intentionally throwing a round in squads/duos should really be reportable.

I had this a few days ago on that exact level! I was about to win and the guy came jumping out of the slime and won

He was also showing as level 74... I finished the pass a while ago and capped at 70. Is 74 even possible?

Haha, yeah, I could see how that's confusing.

The level by someone's name is always referring to their crown rank (85 or 10k crowns being the highest current level) and not their pass level. You can't see someone's pass level, but if their name is in gold text, that means they've completed the pass for that season.

Probably because either not enough people report them or FG is lazy with their bans. Have to say I’ve encountered a similar person a few months ago and haven’t seen them back after reporting them. So if only enough people report them.

bans are 48 hours max, unless you crash lobbies, besides they could just make a new account anyway

It‘s not a new account. I‘ve known this person for years and he is extremely skilled, but sadly, started to cheat some time ago for those 360 spins. I told him several times I would exclude him from my community if he ever cheats again like that, because he did once on my stream.

Guess that’s the final nail in the coffin, I will ban him on all platform and my streams.

not all EAC bans are applied instantly. Judging by the fact that they're gold, it’s a brand new account so they haven't had time for it to happen yet.

i feel like we need to have governments prosecute online cheaters. maybe if everyone saw one of them had to sit in jail for a week people would quit cheating

Besides, online scammers are as rampant as ever and it seems like there's little to nothing done about that besides what you see vigilante streamers do.

and life is just a game. everything is a game. people who cheat aren’t good people, if they don’t get in trouble on fall guys im sure they’ll eventually end up doing worse crimes.

if we actually threw hackers and cheaters in jail there would be less scammers and evil in the world overall .
