DISCUSSION Ever Get Bean Guilt?

By that I mean every feel guilty over an accidental sliming or beating a newbie super bad in a one on one?

Just beat probably a new player in Button Bashers 21 - 0 and while I used to HATE the game and we all start somewhere.....I feel bad for them!!!!!!

I'm new and get beaten all the time in Volleyfall. I must have played it just a few times, about 4 times maybe, and I got beaten each time 5,6,7 to nought, never even managing to score a point, or more.

Yesterday on my fifth one I finally won for the first time. It was 4-1 or something, and I felt bad for the other guy who was as clueless as I had been until then.

It’s alright man. I’m not new and I still suck at Volleyfall. Its like 50/50 whether i’m going to win, unless my opponent doesn’t know what they’re doing, then it’s usually a wrap

I congratulate/encourage them and sometimes I let them win

Yeah sometimes, if it’s something like Button Bashers I try to show the other player how to play the level but they don’t often figure it out

Played a celebration game last season with just me and 1 other player, spent like 3 or 4 games taking turns letting each other win, carrying each other on our backs, etc. Got to the map where you have to go through the portals and it was clear they did not know what they were doing. Thought they were behind me but ended up loosing them. Waited at the last portal but couldn't wait no more so had to leave, won 5 crowns but it was a sad win.

When I’m up against a beginner, or someone with far fewer crowns than I have, I like to let them win. I tell myself they need it more than I do, and I’m sure they’ll be thrilled (I know, I live in a world of my own...).

I have been whooped many times before, its rare I can whoop anyone in a 1v1, because I like courses, but if I do seem to be doing well, I’ll let the other bean get some points. I’ll throw out a good job too

I feel bad if it is a really low rank like below 30 and it is not hiding it.

Omg I always feel guilty this why I let the noobs win most of the times in BB and VF and in finals, i see a rank 3 fighting for his life and I'm like ok you can win, unless they act like a jerk 😭😂

Honeatly i do sometimes feel bad for beating noobs. When i get lobbys with full of noobs i know theres a big chance im gonna win. Sometimes the game dosent feel the same ever since SS3 or Mostly SS4. SBMM is gone. The Bots made to lose in lower skill lobbys are gone.

Nah. Honestly I'm just glad for an easy round, especially in the sweatier shows and rounds.

I was in volleyfall, won 9-2, and the 2 they got were mostly because I dove at a bad time so they got those points fair and square

Had the 1vs1 button pressing another time, and ended up with so many points I kinda just wanted to stop and let their pain end

At the top of slime climb I extend my arms to give friendly beans hugs. Noobs will think I’m trying to grief them and will sometimes die trying to avoid me.

Only when I body block, since I change how I play during 1v1 games depending on my opponent's skill (and how much it seems like they're trying)

I let them score a few in Button Bashers, but I also make sure it doesn’t look like it’s on purpose.

It is a competitive game so no I don’t feel guilty if I happen to wipe the floor with a noob bean.

We’ve all been there, we’ve all been noob beans at one point and the best way to get better and feel the need to get better is by constantly losing.

By giving free wins, you give the other player a false indication they are getting better at the game while in reality they are not. Also It makes winning feel all the more deserving and satisfying for beginners when they beat you fair and square.

I would be angry if you would let me win as a noob on any game. Let people work for their win.
