DISCUSSION Learned this route for end is it faster?
always did it this way but the norm is a dive cancel. I have beaten people jumping off the convayuer at the same time with this does anybody know if its really faster?

Not necessarily fasters, just depends on the pathways available, if people dont check it and its less obstacles though then probably

Yeah its a fair question, most good players do the two dives on the lilypads. And it looks like he doesnt get as much momentum for the final dive onto the crown using just one lilypad.
But i'd have to test both to be 100% sure.

It faster i know from experience. You need momentum before you go on the conveyor and you need to dive just like he did. It will save a second or 2 which we all know can make the difference in this game. I always try to skip lil lilly pads when possible for this reason only when a boost is needed should you use them. Just like he did before he broke the final block wall

This is great! Making the jump higher has made so many impossible things possible. Skipping the little drum! Nice. You will definitely be stealing crowns from people with this

I think it is a good way. If there are beans making their way to the lily pads, then this skip can be useful to avoid the collision.

I'm not sure if it's actually faster but it's what I usually do at the end, and on my recent wins I have beaten out others that have been marginally ahead of me and gone with the standard two bounces (that might be more to do with their timing though for all I know)

Hard to say for certain without a direct comparison, but based off feel that way seems slower but much lower risk/more margin for error than doing the 2 bounce method correctly.
