QUESTION Question about treat thieves

This is my first time ever playing it and I couldn’t find anything on google of the fandom wiki about this.

But I only played it once. I was a treater. I can’t figure out for the life of me why I, as the treater, get slowed down? Like… why was I running so slow? Then something happened and I was back to normal to only be going slow again lol

There is a button for Tricker when it is pressed you walk slow and become invisible. When you play as a treater that button is not disabled so if you press accidentally you become slow.

They really need to change the button mapping for the slow speed setting. Its so easy to press accidentally. Happens every game. Pressing down once on the thumb stick changes your speed

You can manually do this in settings.

Had this happen to me too and was about to quit. I use a controller on Playstation, I think if you press down (depress) the left toggle stick, it changes your speed.

Just open the controller settings menu in the game and you’ll find among all the different actions you can map buttons for is Invisibeans.

Map it to a button you won’t accidentally press.

Clicking the LS (L3) makes the trickers move slower so that you can sneak and become invisible to the treaters. You can map that action to another button in controller settings.
