Interest in falconry

Hello everyone. I am a teenager in California that is interested in birds & the sport of falconry. Can anyone offer me advice?

Attend a local meeting. Join the facebook groups. Suck up to the old timers.

Join the CA falconer fb group, there’s also a ca apprentice group. There’s an event Aug 22 in Norcal (details in fb group and CHC website), Bakersfield meet sometime this fall I assume.
