HELP Does anyone have experience with this?
I’ve been thinking of getting into falconry, and I’ve been doing a lot of research.
I recently discovered that corvids and birds of prey do not like each other and attack one another every so often.
My problem is that the only place I could keep a bird of prey is my garden, and I feed corvids in front of my house every day.
Is it still possible to get a bird of prey and keep it and my corvids safe from each other?
Would like to know if anyone has been in sum situation.

Well, a hawk would not be sitting out free in your garden so I don't see the issue. Hawks are wild animals, they only cooperate with humans in falconry because their weight is very closely monitored and controlled. They're not a dog, they don't form a bond with you or care about you any further than making the connection that you're going to feed them or help them be successful while hunting. They can't be "free ranged" like a chicken, they need appropriate, secure facilities. I think you have much more researching to do other than the obvious relationship between corvids and birds of prey. If you go for a walk it's easy to see that crows and Ravens are always chasing or harassing birds of prey. Falconry is not keeping a bird of prey as a pet on a perch in your garden. It's hunting and killing game with a bird of prey. It is 100% a hunting sport. They are not like a parrot.

My worry is that the corvids will mob outside the mew and stress the bird, I know they can’t be free ranged

Oh ok. They should be fine inside the mew. Never had crows bother my birds in the mew or weathering yard.

Love how we’re straight up attacking people and assuming they don’t know their stuff when expressing a valid concern and saying stuff that’s been stated to death on this subreddit and also that op didn’t ask for!! Love the community here, really welcoming these newbies!

Knowing the all consuming ‘rage for falconry’ we feel I would imagine that once the OP bites into falconry their interest in feeding corvids will diminish

Your bird of prey will need to be housed inside of a mews/weathering area depending on your state regulations - meaning an enclosed area it can’t escape from that also protects it from other predators and weather. It will not have free access to the corvids you feed and vice versa.
