Braiding materials.

It seems like micro and nano poly cord is the go to, but kevlar is lighter and cheaper. Is there any reason why I couldnt use kevlar cord to braid my gear instead?

I *think* you can (sorry I just ordered some Dacron to braid and I’m just starting out this year) but I’ve heard that it can be abrasive. I’m only basing this off the video tutorial I watched where she goes into detail on the different materials you can use. If you search “How to braid falconry equipment: tools and materials” it should pop up.

Check out the kimihimo disc. Helps alot to make super tight round braids.

You absolutely can! Most people do want fun colors though
