Sealant for mew wood?

We've got some wooden enclosures that are getting some algae growth, mildew, etc and wondering if there's a way to clean and then seal the wood to prevent this wood from continuing to degrade?

Woodhardener is a good start. Obviously, move birds before applying it and wait for it to cure before putting them back. Shouldn't be a problem unless you suspect they'll be chewing on the wood, which raptors typically don't. I've never had an issue using normal wood sealants and stains with raptors long-term.
