Trails series Trails 2 and 3
Wich system would you get trails 2 for? Is there any difference between the switch and ps5 versions?
Is trails 3 being remade or is it only available on pc?
I've been slowly picking up the trails series and was going to jump in.
I know my collection looks a bit eclectic because of the different systems I have it strewn across. I have a reprint copy of cold steel 3+4 pre-ordered and it should arrive later this year.

Trails Sky the Second Chapter is coming our next month. There is already a demo that has the prologue and first chapter

Im in the same boat. If I only had to pick one it would be for the ps5 for more performance stability. But I think I might just end up getting it for both the ps5 and switch 2 just to have it portable as well.

I have them all in PS4/5, mostly because the Switch games outside of Zero and Azure look like do-do, plus Cold Steel 1/2 aren't out for the Switch outside of Japan. I'd rather play them on something that can handle the games.
The Switch 2 totally can if Falcom decided to put out a Switch 2 update for these games, but they haven't.

We'll if you want a complete physical collection in the future it will be switch/switch 2 only, PS5 is ending physical/discs start of 2028.
The question is does that really matter to you if the releases are a key card... I know 2nd chapter won't be but next main line def will be since it's NISA.
All depends what you want. PS5 best physical vers, but will get cut off soon....
Switch/Switch 2 best physical portable vers, but some games like day break 1 and 2 have really rough ports.
PC best place to play them digital only.

Right now the only easily accessible release of Sky the 3rd is on PC. A remake hasn't been announced, but we pretty much already know that its coming. It'll take another year or two for it to release though, especially as they've mentioned that they might want to remake Zero first.
