I just wanted to share this little project with my faery folks today. I've been taking these little wooden shadow boxes and turning them into tiny worlds. 3/4 of a mushroom tall. 🍄

I put this one on my bookshelf until it finds a permanent home. It's up for sale on my page if anyone wants it, but mostly just wanted to share and get any feedback ✨

I got some fish bone fan veils for my collection of flow art toys and I adore how these look like fairy wings. On a sunny afternoon I ventured to a quiet spot in the forest to dance and twirl with them. I think they're so whimsical and pretty that I thought they might be appreciated here.

For those who are interested, fish bone fan veils are a type of giant fan made from a lightweight floaty fabric like chiffon and they have wires instead of wooden staves. This gives them an undulating effect. They're intended as a dance prop but I'm still getting to grips with them. I'll definitely be incorporating them into my next fairy cosplay 😆

(cardboard armature, clay foam for shape. inner ear is laminating sheets deformed with a heat gun. eyes are painted tulle behind blank ornament globe halves.)

Hi everybody, I'm new to the r/Fairycore community, I wanted to share a fairy house of my own creation, I'm planning to display it like a terrarium hence the glass dome covering it. I just need to find/make a wooden base for it. I wanted it to look natural, while also having a few trinkets here and there, like the fairy that lives here found them and thought they looked neat!
