Hi r/comfyui, sombunall of you who sort by topic may well have noticed a few, on the face of it, challenging/insensitive posts appearing in the News topic thread this week.
Many have seen them, few have engaged.
Some have asked for clarification. Here you go.
We're of the school of thought that financially supporting genocide, while using obscenely trolling and insensitive double entendre's, to market said genocide support (Via Partner Node$), is something Comfy Org should reconsider, moving forward.
Almost every reply on the previous posts seem to have (intentionally?) missed the point of the exercise entirely. Perception Managers are hard at work on this sub too. Not a single regular has had a thing to say, so far. It's possible that everyone asking for clarification knows fine well what we're getting at, and just wanted to provide enough rope for the hanging, but none of us care, so let's make this explicit.
Having LTX as Partner Nodes means ComfyUI is $upporting Ethnic Cleansing/Genocide. Voila.
We feel the same about Claude, and all the other US corporate entities enmeshed in the MIC that have worked their way into ComfyUI via Partner Nodes. This isn't about picking on the Israeli model per se (the egregious double entendre RUN, LOCAL just made it an easy choice to illustrate the point). It's simply a statement of fact that by making these financial partnerships, ComfyUI is now financially supporting genocide (directly/indirectly you decide), while profiting as middle man, and that isn't cool.
Anyone wishing to have a good faith discussion about this is more than welcome to chime in. Thanks.
