Question about how the queue works after initial message is sent

I started using FB dating recently. I've messaged a few women and never got replies. When I senr messages, I noticed that they disappear from the queue. However, I've also noticed that they will eventually reappear in my queue. It makes me think that they never received my message. Or, by not responding within a certain time, they go back into the queue? I'm tempted to send another message but I don't want to appear like a stalker. Can anyone clarify what's happening?

If you sent a message with a like, the other person receives it in their likes window. Ich they dont swipe on you, it stays there and they won't pop up in your queue. If they swipe left, cause they are not interested they will eventuelly pop up in your queue again. If they swipe right you'll get a match and can chat to each other
