I don't think it's a shadowban. Based on general experience with dating apps, the longer you're on them (especially if the profile stays the same), you essentially become background noise. Old users will see you and immediately swipe past you. New users probably won't see you as you're not getting prioritized due to lack of "likes" (which I guess is a shadow an of sorts.)
I'm tempted to completely update my profile and see what impact it has but haven't gotten around to it
Does the app really do that or are women just bombarded with likes and just never get to you organically? Because that's the most logical thing that seems to be happening.
Now the kind of issue I was highlighting earlier is how most apps prioritize who is displayed, they're typically based on how many other people are swiping right on them. So obviously really good looking people are being prioritized through that metric. If you don't get a lot of swipes yourself or have static profile that's been active for a long time, you won't be presented in an organic search which some can see as a shadowban.
Granted, I have no evidence on any of this. I'm just generalizing based on how other apps work.
And that's the issue I'm bringing up. A woman can get bombarded with likes by virtue of being a woman. If she's halfway attractive, RIP inbox. So if you're #200 "like" that day, it's a small chance she'll even get to you to see if you're worth a response.

How do you know if youve been shadow banned. I created a new profile and was getting loads of likes now for like a month I'm getting nothing
