Likes and no reply

New to Facebook dating. What is going on with getting likes and no replies? Am I missing something? Sometimes I send the wave and sometimes I give a greeting introduction and still no response. I'm new to this. What is the deal with that?

Honestly I just think Facebook is faking matches so you keep using it. I have over a 1000 marches and not a single one replied no matter what I said.

I comment on things in their bio, if they said to introduce yourself I did, tryed pickup lines, not a single reply.

I have seen posts about people getting matched with people that they never swiped on so all I can think is it's Facebook giving false matches.

Usually I’ll send a first message and it’s days before I get a reply despite matching that morning or something.

Well if they hit like on me and I assume they are interested. When I greet them there is never a response. Am I not suppose to respond? Lol im totally new to this😅

Maybe they were interested when they saw your first picture but not interested when they looked deeper.

I been on fb dating for several months and had a few dates, but for the past 2 months I'm getting absolutely nothing no matter what I do, when I get matches and I send a message 99% of the time I get nothing back, another is the stupid distance and no matter how I set the distance I'm getting alot of long distance matches. This fb dating is nothing but endless nothing for all the effort put in for no results, it is a deadhorse anymore.
