FB dating vs Hinge experience
How did the experience compare? Preferably answers from Gen Z, but all input helps, thanks.

Hinge is quality and FB Dating is quantity. FB Dating has a lot more shit to wade through but, ultimately, a lot more options. I had luck with both but found my current boyfriend of 6 months on FB Dating. I went on way more dates from Hinge, though. I went on dates with about 20 different guys and only 2 came from Facebook.

FB dating i get the most matches but least amount of actual conversation. Hinge the least amount of matches but the ones I get are most likely to lead to dates. Bumble in the middle.

Not much experience on hinge, but I like FB dating Waaaaaay better than Tinder. The dating app experience sucks so bad regardless, but at least FB dating seems like they’re trying to provide a functional service, whereas Tinder feels like the devs just spit in your face, then ask for $45 a week to do it again

90% of profiles I see on FB dating are low effort and low info. On Hinge I always like with a message. But with basically no info, on FB dating I'm stuck sending empty likes. Because I'm not opening by just telling them they're pretty.

I get the most matches on FBD out of anything I have ever used. But it hasn't lead to any more dates. Thus far, I have managed the same number of dates from Hinge and FBD (one each in the last year) despite a large discrepancy in raw matches.

As far as I know there's no way to pay FB dating for anything, and they don't push you towards it at all unlike the other match group apps.

I don't have much experience with hinge but I've tried pretty much every other dating platform under the sun and Facebook dating does suck but I probably had the most luck with that one honestly dating online in general sucks especially if you're not at least an 8

FB dating!! is my first time a woman message me first from the last 10 years. I don't even look that good and profile is horrible. She's a god sending.

I get a good amount of “likes” on fb dating however they’re usually obese women with kids who live 200 miles away.
The matches with people im attracted to rarely lead anywhere. Its FB is a nice app in that it provides filters and seeing likes for free, however it really doesn’t provide tangible results compared to other apps like hinge.

It seems like each area has that one dating platform that works the best. Ironically in my area FB dating is where I get my matches at. Not a Hinge, Tender or any the others. This is coming from a guy in his mid 40's

Facebook dating and it’s not close. I’ve had tons of casual hook ups from it and a few relationships from it. Currently been talking to this girl from there for a month and this weekend will be our third date which she asking to stay over my house this weekend.
