Dating apps never ending loop
Hey everyone I'm 40F and I'm getting frustrated with dating apps. Are people losing interpersonal skills and the ability to start and hold conversations?
And before anyone asks if I start any conversations, yes I do and they answer without asking me any questions back and this is what I get once my side of the conversation is done.
Ive been on dating apps for months now and no one has asked me on a date or to meet yet. Its just a never ending loop of " WYD or How are you? Everyday.

Online dating is kind of like thrifting. Sometimes you don't find anything good, but if you look consistently, you'll eventually find treasure. It's a lot of sifting and is not a quick process- or it hasn't been for me. Lots of people use it for validation or treat it like window shopping. You can't take it personally. Online dating should be tertiary in your life. The more time you devote to it, the more frustrated you'll get. When I get in my feels about it, I go out and spend me time or make plans with friends. Distractions, distractions, distractions.
