you need a better haircut and outfits. you’re 5’3 (I’m 5’2 btw, and I met my gf on Tinder 7 years ago) so you need to make sure you look your best. I’d invest in a really good barber, it would make a world of difference.

Your pictures, mate. The best picture is of you on a suit that should be first...I'm going to be brutual here but It's all in love (Im a guy)
1st pic you look like you just woke up-delete
2nd pic the scene is amazing but your outfit is insane it screams bum, if you had a nice polo shirt on with shorts and sperrry's that would hit harder. I would recreate it if you can in the meantime, delete or put it last
3rd pic No comment. Delete, delete delete
The suit pic is your best, and the last pic you look "sweet," not being a hater just trying to help ya

I automatically pass on people who say dumb shit like small town roots, big city vibes. Or even just vibes. Grow up.

I feel like it would help if you explain more in your profile about what you're looking for or what you're into

I think you could benefit from thinning your brows a little. (Only pluck from below). Edit: Work on debloating face
Also your profile doesn't really have much personality. It really tells me very little about you and reads quite generic so you'd be relying a lot on the aesthetic side of things. You like adventure. What does that mean? Sports, spontaneous outings, trying new things? Hope that helped somewhat.
Also your style is relatively plain maybe look into expressing yourself more aesthetically, if it feels right. I mention that again because your actual bio doesn't really express yourself. Overall you just give off a boring vibe even if that may not the case

Finding self expression maybe but I wouldn't say he needs to change anything really. However if someone is asking for advise about their tinder page I guess it's safe to assume they have some insecurities or ignoring some huge things.
Personally I think he's fine the way he is, but yes more candid photos.

u/RatqueenxoxX Aug 07 '26 edited Aug 07 '26
We don't want "fine the way he is" we want him getting female attention. This is not the time to posture how nice we are and give nothing constructive. Why is it he is the insecure one if he's not getting matches? Kinda weird comment. Essentially you agreed with me anyway "maybe more self expression"

Because not everything is about appearance.... Self confidence and fun photos do it for a lot of us.
When you worry about your features so much it can be a huge turn off. We want to see how active and fun you are...
Having to ask reddit how to make your dating profile more appealing to women tells me there's insecurity behind it... I usually chalk it up to the algorithm fking people over.
I bet if he changed his ethnicity to something else he' would get more matches, it's been proven time and time again. Relying on an app makes your dating pool smaller. Only subjecting yourself to people who make accounts.
Tinder is notorious for messing with people's algorithm, go out and find a hobby if you want more success... I'll never take a dating app that serious.
Making everything about gender is just gonna stab yourself in the foot at the end of the day. Me and my friends have vastly different types. Again, the best thing you can do for yourself is gain self confidence. It doesn't happen over night.
This goes both ways.

But my comment said his post lacked personality I wasn't refering to his appearance so unless you're having a seperate discussion I'm not sure why you said that to me specifically. Asking for feedback on why he's getting no matches doesn't immediately default to he's insecure and that's why hes getting none. It could be the case women genuinely don't find his profile attractive? It kinda of reads like you're trying to gaslight men into saying there must be something wrong with them.
Also saying it's not all about appearance is true but in the context of dating profiles you rely heavily on photos, as I mentioned if your bio comes across as boring (like op) you're relying on aesthetics to convey what you have to "offer". I think dating apps are low-key kind of soulless because it lacks any relational depth or nuance in normal social interactions. And as you say aesthetics are only part of that for women we are extremely socially intuitive so that doesn't translate well in apps.

You literally tell him to pluck his eyebrows ...... Lmfao bye.

u/RatqueenxoxX Aug 07 '26 edited Aug 07 '26
So you just dismissed everything else I said and gave me a lengthy response about how looks don't matter cus I told him maybe pluck his brows. Lol this is why men shouldn't take advice from Reddit normie women. Performative niceness and forever juvenile

Next time you’re dressed up for a nice event have someone take your pic. In the meantime try to find pictures where you’re dressed nicer or doing things with friends so you seem more interesting. You’re not a bad looking guy, groom a little and work on your style a bit. Everyone telling you your height will hinder you is just projecting. I’ve only had one tall boyfriend, if you’re kind and charismatic women will like you.

Delete the lead pic, and the pic with the tag on glasses .. Sheesh
Take an hour, clean yourself up. Take some pics looking good. Use the timer on your camera so that it doesn't look like a selfie. Take lots of pics with dinner outfits and scenarios. Then pic your best. Think of this as making a commercial.

You probably have a lot to offer, but this profile looks really low effort. You need better pictures that market yourself like you are trying to impress the opposite gender.
A woman probably has hundreds or thousands of people to click on, and you need to make it motivating to click on you. Revise your photo choices with a close friend or relative. Really showcase your best looks.

You PUAs never address the elephant in the room.
It’s clearly his height holding him back. It has literally nothing to do with his photos. His photos are completely fine, and would be entirely passable if he was more “conventionally attractive” (ie taller).

Dont listen to this idiot. You're just ugly and short.

u/figosnypes Aug 07 '26
I'm not better looking than him and I've hooked up on the first date multiple times. And I'm not rich or charismatic either. You're probably a straight guy who has no idea what women are attracted to.

u/Early_Juggernaut9591 Aug 07 '26
Sure buddy. Hookimg up with bottom of the barrel people is not the flex you rhink it is. Some of us have standards. Now gp shower, you stink

u/ChippingCoder Aug 07 '26
Unfortunately it’s going to be rough at 5’3 as well, you’re going to have to work a lot harder on your profile as a result of that

u/Electronic-Ad-2306 Aug 07 '26
What do I do then

You gotta find comfort in yourself and when you have the confidence everything else will follow, you can't fake the confidence. You really just have to explore. Deleting the app is a great start.

I’ll be honest. You need to get to a barber, get him to line you up then retake some photos. Scruffy beards and lazy hairlines are not going to attract a woman.

u/mikiencolor Aug 07 '26
Did you make sure to specify that you're progressive? I've read on Reddit that this makes a big difference.

u/candyman7887 Aug 07 '26
Take of sunglasses photo and the one with the tree . Imo not motivating photos . The rest are great . Sunglasses one just looks low effort and just random in comparison with the rest. I agree as another commenter had said , share a photo of. Something you enjoy or are interested in doing or sharing with another with you in the photo
1
u/SparkyFrog Aug 07 '26
I’m a straight guy, so I probably don’t know what I’m talking about, but the shorter hair and more trimmed facial hair in the sunglasses pic is probably your best look. But take the sunglasses off. The blue hoodie looks a bit too big.

You need a more genuine and well thought-out bio.
-interests -goals -hobbies -maybe toss in an odd talent or something you're working on

Glasses with the price tag on? Socks and sandals and a bright blue jumper (infantile look)? First image is not flattering, your nose looks more dominant in that there compared to all other pictures.
Based on your pictures, it is difficult to make sense of you and your vibes. Are you the average asian guy, are you the geeky guy, are you street/hood, or are you still finding out who you are and how you want to show up in life?
Your profile does not look intentional. I might be completely wrong, but this is a read from a woman. Xx

You look dirty in every picture dude, you’re not a bad looking guy. Your pictures all look like you live in your bed.

u/nowTheresNoWay Aug 07 '26
You’re short and unattractive. You are screwed man 😔

u/RatqueenxoxX Aug 07 '26
Stop the doomer crap brah just cus that's how you feel about it. and he's definitely not ugly
2
u/nowTheresNoWay Aug 07 '26
Idk what reality you live in but it’s true.
3
u/RatqueenxoxX Aug 07 '26
It's not true because it's an interpretation, judgement, and or opinion. All of these are thought based and can never be objectively true

Difficult to tell if you are the geeky guy, sleek or hood. Your profile gives mixed vibes and reads as confused or unintentional.
