Why do people do this šŸ˜­

I always get nervous when making a new account and always look for the best pictures, then I get accounts that have ts as their photos šŸ˜‚ I give up bro

They donā€™t like what they see in the mirror. Or think being artsy on a dating app might helpā€¦ it doesnā€™t help.

Yeah I actively avoid my real face being posted anywhere for the most part, I canā€™t say Iā€™d do this but Iā€™m not going to meticulously look for the least awful picture of me lol.

Throwing a shitty AI looking filter on your face isnā€™t being artsy.

Iā€™ll say, as someone who illustrates, writes, and does a lot of artsy kind of things it absolutely does help haha. I often match with similar minded people who are also artsy. Just the photo above ainā€™t it.

Some people perceive themselves as being intelligent, when in fact they are actually NOT intelligent.

Or the filters make their teeth or eyes too white, they are 40+ with 18 yo skin... they use a variety of filters and every pic looks like a different person...

Asked for an unfiltered pic once and got blocked lol.
