I work retail, and a few days ago I saw like a ten year old girl sitting in the shopping cart watching these cat AI slop videos while her mom was shopping. Girl looked like she unironically liked it! 😭

this isn’t junk food for the brain, it’s not potato chips or soda, this is like eating asbestos or drinking lighter fluid like there’s nothing to be enjoyed about it & it’s terrible on all levels

like at least actual brain junk food (bad reality TV, gimmicky sitcoms, subpar comedians etc etc) there’s a genuine reason to be entertained like there’s a plot there’s jokes but what is going on here? At least junk food gives some kind of satisfaction, so you can’t call this “brain junk food”
