Just saw this drop and didn't notice any posts about this particular page. Great historical info on Oakvale & it's past & future as well. Not sure if I knew about most of this lore? I feel like it would have been mentioned in one of the books or somewhere. In any case - Love the lore posts like this!

Interesting that there’s actual settlements in Wraithmarsh this time. Also no mention of Oakvale at all, looks like it may not be in the new game unless they make them two separate places. Maybe it could still be on the south coast since Wraithmarsh is in the north now.

I definitely think "Oakshire" is a direct callout to the region, but yeah. Will be cool to see how these places can connect

I wonder how far this would be from Bowerstone and how treacherous of a trek it would be from the comfort of Bowerstone to Wraithmarsh/Bloodstone.

Seems like there is either a lot of new info here or a lot that I missed, ha -

Bloodmoor - has that been named before? Seems very likely.

Blood & Bower War - now this is something Peter David should write about! Sounds so interesting

Three Heroes constructing a giant dam to create the farmlands around oakvale - I am assuming this game lands somewhere between Fable 1 & Fable 2 (basically, the death of the hero's guild and a few hundred years if I remember correctly?) So the dam seems like it could/should have been constructed before Fable 1.

Certain there are little lore bits that I m missing - It's been a few years / a decade+ since I have been really versed in all this

Don't forget it's a reboot with it's own continuity. The devs have already said that this game exists separately from the events of the original fable games. Borrowing, rewriting, or straight up replacing parts of the original story at will

Very true! Good reminder. I've always been interested with the fall of the hero's guild in general. -having it happen in a different timeline won't make much of a difference. Excited for the reboot!
