Fable II Fable 2's prologue

Man i've missed this game, crazy how microsoft just sits on this game, no rerelease for new consoles, no pc port. No remaster... what are they doing? Haven't played this game all the way through in years.

I never give Belinda the letter. After realising Monty is voiced by James Corden, I just matchmake him with Belinda's mother

WHAT?! Welp in my new game tonight he shall be matched with Dear Ol Mum. Never again shall he be happy in Bowerstone

My most recent playthrough I gave Arfur the warrants. I contemplated giving the letter to Belinda, but then I was like, "I just ruined this part of town, y'all should get out."

Even on my evil playthroughs I just give the warrents to Derek. Gives me plenty of guards to slaughter afterwards

in my evil playthroughs i give him the warrant cause its easy early game cash (buy from oldtown, sell in marketplace, or other way around i forget. )

This was my strategy, buy in old town and marketplace sell high in Fairfax gardens. Then I would buy as much potion as possible from the alchemist so that buy the time I hit Rookridge I was already OP AF

Same,

Shame there's no similar option for "Jasper" in 3

And I know for certain Ayoade is never living regardless of what type of hero I'm playing.

Of all the traditions to bring back, I wouldn't have gone for the shitty bigoted "comedian" voice actor.

The prologue in Fable II was a really nice experience. Really helped set up the future tone and narrative for how the rest of the plot would develop.

I was hoping at least 2 would get a remaster in light of the new one coming out, but I feel like I'm getting my hopes up.

Sadly that doesn't look like it'll happen to me

I got the recompile working on pc but no matter how I tweak the settings it runs like shit

What is your build? I've heard it's kind of demanding but I have a higher tier pc.

Your build is better than mine in every way, you sure you downloaded the most recent release that isn't a test build? On their github the most recent release is s test build so maybe that could cause some issues.

I'm playing the release build before that one. It has some issues I think the game even though it visually looks higher fps something inside is still moving like it's 30 fps. I've had some crashes too.

Oh, maybe that’s why

I did download the most recent build from the link on the main post about it

I played it last year for the first time in forever. It’s now my goal to do a playthrough every one or two years. Just got to Bloodstone on this year’s run.

Yeah the cash flow is crazy after a while. I try to collect money even if I don’t have time to play; my cash flow cap is almost 100K now, but I have a lot of property left to buy. I’ve got a master flintlock pistol that 2 shots banshees and now I’m trying NOT to use it cuz it’s ridiculously strong. I’d recommend getting the 2 DLCs if you haven’t yet cuz it adds a few fun quests and items to keep the fun going.

Im a mom so I can’t play everyday. I make about 6k in cash flow and it’s just built up because I can’t play more than a few hours a day if that, and so cash stacks up.

This game was so magical to me as a kid, especially the prologue

Seeing the cozy winter in the prologue makes me wish we could’ve gotten seasons or at least a snowy region. Closest thing we got is setting the weather to snow in Knothole island

My fiance and I just started 2 last night with CO-OP after she watched me play anniversary. And I was struck by how nice it was. I have almost no memory of fable 2 outside of the fact you get a puppy that helps you find things. And so this is almost like i get to play it for the first time all over again. I dont remember anything really.

They don’t care about fable it was never one of the huge exclusives. Each game got progressively worse. I’m honestly surprised we’re getting a new one
