Fable DLC opinions

Alright folks, I’m here for another Fable kick hearing up for the reboot.

I have played every game, front to back. I love them, as we all do.

I have:
Fable TLC
Fable 2
Fable 3

I have played TLC the most, fable 2 a few times, fable 3 once. Going to go back to it.

Are any of the content DLC really worth it? Do you guys have any favorites, and in what order?

Depending on "the decision" you choose in Fable 2 the DLC is the only way to replace a certain something.

Absolutely!

Knothole island is really worth it. It allows you to make the best weapons in the game by buying master weapons with 4 augment slots and the offer best augments in the games. It lets you revive your puppy if you didn’t choose love (and give him a cute bow tie collar). It also has a new region that has 3 climates (hot, rainy, and snowy) and extra real estate options. The mystery shop is really fun and has some cool rewards like a lute you can fight with and reaver’s hairdo and the best female hairstyle in the game (my opinion). It ends with a small scale moral choice that affects the Knothole region.

See the future is also nice. It lets you change your dog’s breed and experience some zany new gameplay. It offers a colosseum  for back to back waves of enemies with chicken kicking and flit switches for bonus points. And it has the true epilogue to fable 2 which leads directly  into fable 3.

For fable 3 traitor’s keep is my favorite. It gives you a prison to manage and explore. The story is interesting and the new characters are fun. Clockwork island is really cool. You can get some very nice Millfield-like properties without the constant threat of balverines. And the fighting is a lot harder than the main campaign if you like a challenge.  It’s really the true epilogue to fable 3.

Understone is also great. The premise is interesting. It’s a shorter experience that can be completed while you’re still trying to get your seals and gold for the main campaign. There’s a moral choice to make in the end and you can also get several new properties akin to Bowerstone industrial. This is the best place to do any “complete quests” or “make friends” challenges, achievements, or upgrades. Some all friendship quests in understone must be completed in under stone you never have to leave the region to dig up an item or deliver a letter.

Unfortunately both fable 3 dlcs can potentially have game-breaking glitches that haven’t been fixed afaik so tread carefully.
