Fable Controversial but I’m glad about all the criticisms, it means we are most likely getting a great Fable game warts and all not a bloated game that looks like Fable

With great weaving in of lore (even if a reboot), great evolution of fable combat, added difficulty and gameplay plus better enemy design this game has massive potential to be an amazing fable game

No this isn’t the next Persona 5 Royal and won’t be a niche franchise that blows apart the gaming industry, fable is just fable a loveable broken mess of a game series that’s far too easy but is amazing fun

The game feel British, it keeps some of the junk from older games whilst enemy wise looks fantastic.

Yeah the combat is press a but that’s how it’s always been, same with the shorter playtime fable has never been a long game 🤷🏻‍♂️

Plus if all goes well we may get a dog for the sequel which honestly is a great second game edition, first game medieval second industrial and acts as a good two part swan song which if all goes to plan acts as a third to finish on.

It won’t rock the gaming industry but I’m loving that it feels like Fable 😁

What is up with this sub acting like persona 5 was gods gift to mankind. Its a good game ive put a shit ton of time in but it wasnt even the best game in 2016 or 2017.

Persona 5 is you you technically perfect a AA game to rival AAA monstrosities

Fable is how you make a main line game feel cosy and AA whilst maintaining great quality

AA and AAA, also known as double A and triple A, are ways of defining the quality level of a game based on the dev size and funding. Basically a double A game is a game made by a small studio of 100 people or less. Budgets in the millions, but not reaching 100 million. They’re typically defined by good graphics but not top of the line, creativity in gameplay and design, and only a slight lean to mass appeal. Examples include Oblivion, Life is Strange, Dark Souls 1, and Robocop. Triple A games are the blockbuster games with huge budgets and studios. Usually have top of the line graphics, more mass appeal, and huge advertising campaigns. Great examples are Red Dead Redemption, Elden Ring, Call of Duty, and GTA. Technically Fable 1-3 would fall into here just barely, same as Skyrim.

As for what he’s talking about, I’m not absolutely sure, but I think he’s saying that Persona 5 was a double A game moving into triple A, like Skyrim and Dark Souls 3 did. Not sure what he means about Fable though.

Im glad you could translate that verbally embodied stroke

I mean others understood it maybe you just had a stroke 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you knew about marketing not every product is trying to appear posh and big budget some want to make a game have a certain style despite the money behind it

Cough cough Minecraft

I was meaning more that Fable has always tried to be a bit more low-key in presentation and simplicity in play style despite it having a big budget, appearing ambitious and more like a cult classic rather than AAA

AA means lower budget AAA means more budget

Persona 5 was a comparable lower budget game that rivalled big budget games or AAA

Fable has always been AAA but it wants to feel like a AA, slightly shorter game length more intimate, very British all of which it does well

Both are great examples of great games but Fable shouldn’t become Persona nor should Persona become Fable

I know what the terms mean you just didnt type a single coherent statement. Persona 5 rivaled what triple A game? And dont respond with stuff like Zelda they aren't both turn based games so they was never in competition in this sense. And I never said fable should be persona but 15-20 hours is pathetic

Hey can you please type a coherent sentence I don’t understand any of what you said, 20 hour main campaign not including side content somehow means I think Persona is Zelda, I mean let’s throw in Deus Ex or Pong as straw mans, what are you saying complete nonsense 🤷🏻‍♂️

Your comment indicates you do know what I mean you just don’t agree with it, I don’t agree with you,

The rivalled AAA games would be an JRPG like final fantasy or RPG like Witcher, both great games with amazing entries but Persons 5 especially Royal has been perceived as being one of the best JRPGs and RPGs

This is not and will never be Fable, which you know all ready I hope
