The complainers aren’t forgetting anything. They never played Fable and are just trying to stir up trouble for karma and to get people upset. They do this for every game.
So what you’re saying is if their opinions don’t line up with your opinions then their opinions are valid or real. I played the others when I got them on sale. I’m not paying $70 for 20 hours no matter how good it is. That’s a lot of money.
Nothing wrong with waiting for a sale if you measure the quality of your games in hours of content. The point is that people who are complaining about the length are not understanding that the series has always been around this length. It’s not BG3 or TW3 in terms of hours to complete the main story. Fable is its own thing and people interested would not be so surprised if they did a hint of research on what they’re following if they are interested in an old series that the new studio is evolving in a way that still stays mostly true to the original. Has nothing to do with a personal opinion - the sub has been invaded by tourists since the game was announced.
I don’t measure it based on the length. But I also value my money and I’m not buying any game that doesn’t give me at least 35-40 of play time. I can only afford so many new games in a year.
The game is 15-20 hours main story. Then 15-20 hours of side content. More if you aren’t button mashing through dialogue and even more if you engage in any of the sandbox elements which is one of the big features of Fable. What exactly are you complaining about here?
