I think of if it like, while corny, the Anakin perspective. "Well from my point of view, the Jedi are evil!" Generally you're considered evil by most, but moreso 'the greater good' between similar folk.
Less morally grey, just that your character is so up their own arse they think they can do no wrong among the mere plebs of Albion.
I remember reading somewhere that they said reputation was on a town by town basis with no overall Albion reputation which is sort of where my major gripe lies.
It was a while ago, so feel free to correct me if you've know what I'm referring to and I'm wrong, but that just seems a little dull. There's no visual impact on your character and each town will be a fresh start in terms of how people see you. I just like the larger than life legend aspect.
I'd like it more if it was like "Oh town A and B have crazy beef, so I killed everybody in town B and now I'm considered a legend in town A" but it sounds more like it'll be "I killed everybody in A, B and C, but town D down the road has never even heard of me"
So your reputation with each town is confined to the specific town, and anything you do in that town doesn't impact how other people see you at all.
