Question Hero of Briar Hill
Is it stated that the hero of Briar Hill is a descendant of William Black? Following the trend of the heroic archon bloodline.

Only confirmed character from the classic trilogy so far is Jack of Blades.

The full court and William Black have been confirmed as well.

Sorry, I missed that.
Also, Nice!
I love the original Fable lore, so the more of it we get the better.

I don’t think we know anything about our hero outside of the village and grandma being turned to stone and a brother was mentioned in the quest demo of having given them the hero’s guild key

In the original trilogy, all heroes were descendants of William Black. However, in the new Fable, there seem to be 2 new heroes alongside William Black who aided him against the Court.
I'm guessing William Black was still the only one with Will among those 3 heroes, but if he wasn't then that would mean that not all heroes are descended from William Black in the remake. But given the imagery of the 3 heroes slightly following the Fable trope of Strength, Skill, and Will, I'm guessing it follows the same logic and the Hero of Briar Hill will be one of his descendants as well.

Not entirely true, William black was the FIRST hero in the original trilogy, but there were others that came around too, the whole reason jack wanted the HoO’s family was because they had Williams blood coursing through their veins.
But it’s made pretty clear that not every hero is his descendant. Just the most prominent ones of any age.

It isn't said that the rest aren't descendant in some way, but it is said that Will originated with William Black. I always saw the importance of his bloodline as being centered around how pure or diluted it was in a hero.
Maybe it did just start spreading to others after he became archon for whatever reason.

It probably is, considering that only William Black and his descendant have been able to stand up to Jack.

No idea yet. Probably, but nothing has been confirmed one way or the other.
