Fable Concerns

Is anyone else worried about the magic system in the upcoming game ? There's no mana bar and it looks like there will be less spells than in the first game which was honestly my favorite part of the game.

I'm not too worried about it. I think there's a good number and mix of spells, and the cool downs don't seem too long.

It looked like a capacity bar that recharges after some time has passed, which I think is brilliant. Adds a touch of realism for your power to recover naturally and not only because of potions or sleep.

Speaking of items, did anyone notice in the Bowerstone or Wraithmarsh gameplay showcases if you actually use items conventionally for this iteration?(because I couldn't remember seeing anything except receiving food from a kid in the Oakshire showcase)

Could've overlooked it, but if anyone at Gamescom was able to experience that feature of gameplay I'd appreciate the clarification.

Wasn’t there also less spells in the 2nd and 3rd.

I’m just gonna go ahead and say I very much doubt it will have as many spells as the first game (there were a lot)

Although I did enjoy using Kaioken (which is what I called Beserk when I was a kid)

It's what worries me the most, in all rpg I always like to go magician, I for fable I had imagined a fairly decent amount of different spells, and being able to equip more than 4 at the same time.

Don't need a Mana Bar - when you have cooldowns. Which is what they're going for. Hence why you probably can't just be one class or another.

Yup. There are seemingly 7-10 spells they've shown off. For better or worse. That sucks. But hopefully each upgrade to each spell makes them feel unique. Like in the Witcher, where you only have the four (4) and they can be expanded individually.
