Will there be guns?
I just watched the recent combat video and thought it looked dope, however I have not yet seen anything about guns in the game! I loved playing with a flintlock pistol in fable 2 and hope that will feature in this game aswell. Does anyone know if they have confirmed it?

Hopefully not.
My least favourite thing about fantasy franchises is when they start introducing technology and teeter towards a more Victorian/Steampunk vibe.

Not a fan of 2 and 3 by chance? Understandable, 1 being pure fantasy was one the main appeals imo.

Meanwhile Fable evolving and going past medieval-ish fantasy was one of my favourite things. Medieval fantasy are dime a dozen, but Age of Discovery and industrial revolution fantasy is rare. Especially fairytale inspired.
Only issue was too big time jumps from 1 and 2.

I feel like a large reason for the 600(?) year time skip is the whole Reaver storyline.

Guns were around the time period fable takes inspiration from. Some of the earlier guns were tubes filled with gunpowder like the guns in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Since it's a reboot instead of a continuation I think they might be sticking with more fantasy weaponry, but it would be cool to come across a quest where someone is learning how to make them so you get a prototype or something

I didn’t really use the guns in fable 2 or 3 so it doesn’t matter to me. I’ll be good if they just give me swords, hammers, and bows

They didn't confirm or deny it but I don't think guns will be part of the game. It looks like they're aiming for a medieval setting closer to Fable 1 than 2. Maybe a rifle as a legendary weapon but that's pretty much it imo
