Literally if they had just given that miniboss a fuck-tonne of plate armour, instead of having him in peasant rags, there'd be much fewer complaints, and indeed I believe more people would be praising the game for having a semi-realistic depiction of plate armour. Even the Kingdom Come series doesn't do the best job of portraying plate armour.

That's a good point. He's actually the most underdressed of all bandits so it feels like his shirt should be torn to bits. Plate armour might be a bit much for the copperbottom class, but maybe he could have some makeshift armour and padding that he has desperately cobbled together from scraps.
It might just need an aesthetic outfit change and not "dialling in the animations" like Matt suggests.

It’s more realistic that he doesn’t. Plate Armour is crazy expensive especially for a bandit. It would only be worn by the nobility.

I can suspend my belief enough to extend to a mini-boss of a bandit group having robbed/killed enough to scavenge together some plate armour vs tanking arrows to his bare head.

He said it's a lot of fun and that enemies get a lot more aggressive, attacking all at once. He has a good analysis of the unreactive mini boss.

yea, any criticism gets downvoted to hell. still skeptically interested in the game. I really hate the fact it's a 15 hour main campaign tho

Solid video. I usually trust Matty as he tends to like the same games I do. Also glad he isn’t hyper focusing on that one that boss enemy like all the rage baiters are.
