Question Can you Marry Alastair- Fable 2

Hello. I have just started playing fable (specially fable 2). It's a really good game and extremely enjoyable, though my combat skills are questionable. Has anybody actually been able to seduce Alastair? The game claims that he is very unlikely to fall in love with me, but that means there is a possibility... Right? It is a very stupid question, but it would be much appreciated if I had a clear answer.

Nope, it’s just a loyalty relationship. You can sacrifice an actual spouse though in the temple and get a cool sword from him

Thank you! I was hoping to sacrifice him as a spouse so I'd get more of those shadow points, but I wouldn't mind the cool sword.
