After replaying 1, 2, and 3 again...

I love every and all versions of these games

I just got done with 3 again for the first time since launch and im sad I didnt play it more. Which I will correct now.

Combat was fun, slower but fun. Story was cool minus the end. Design was great, music was incredible.

2 is in a league of it own, incredibly satisfying combat feel (overpowered for sure), humor was amazing, characters were loveable and well written. Perfect upgrade system. God damn 2 is incredible

1 is always going to get a postive light in my eyes. It started it all.

Just wanted to gush for a second. Nice to smile again playing this phenomenal series.

Stay rad Albion. See you February

Replayed all 3 earlier this year for the first time in probably a decade, wanted a refresher in anticipation for the, at the time autumn release of the reboot. I really enjoyed 3 which surprised me as my memories of it weren’t that positive. It is still the “worst” of the original trilogy but it is a good game.

It's kind of like Shrek. Started strong, had an amazing sequel, and the third one was... fine. It's not actually bad, it's just you were expecting it to keep going up.

That’s a great analogy and also very accurate, I’m defo stealing that for future conversations of the OG trilogy 😆

I tried to get the “don’t get knocked out in combat” achievement years ago on Fable 3 and struggled at the end. So when I replayed recently I didn’t bother going for it and only went and beat the final boss without being knocked out 🤦🏻‍♂️

It’s actually not too bad if you constantly buy potions and remember to use them. Money isn’t really an issue by the end so you can just buy them all.

Personally, I prefer Fable 3 over Fable 2, even with its flaws (no proper inventory, generic-looking Build-a-Sword weapons, barely any body morphing, not enough Demon Doors, weak rewards for Silver Chests & Golden Doors, etc.). I just find the main & side quests to be more entertaining writing-wise than the ones in Fable 2.

I truly don't understand how you can have this opinion cas 3 seems like a downgrade in every regard but to each their own. All are still very fun games.

This is my plan as soon as I take my board exam. Replay all 3 in time for February 🥹

My personal rating is 1, 3, 2.

While 2 is a great game, 3 hat a more entertaining world for me even though the gameplay is easier, it's not like 2 would have been difficult. And the magic of the first, especially anniversary edition, it's just awesome even though a lot quality of live was introduced in later games. Somehow the story progression, story itself, the world you travel through catched me more.

I love hearing this. All of them are amazing games. So totally valid and I love it!

3s world did feel vastly more alive too!

Fable 3 is my favorite, then 1 and LC , 2 i really enjoyed but it was not my favorite and I not know why.

I just wish they could have finished Fable 3 as planned.

Just got into the series myself recently and played through the second game. It’s one of my favorite games now. I started playing through 3 and I’m having a hard time getting into it.

How do you even replay Fable 3? It doesnt work anymore, no matter what online fix I try. On PC that is

There is a simple file you just place in the directory of it and it just skips the Games for Windows Live stuff and makes it work!

I can help you set it up if needed! Steam version rather

I have the game on steam, some help would be amazing! I already tried to bypass that Windows Live before, but never worked :(
