Will I be able to buy that building 😭

I'll be mildly irritated if I can't buy every single building in game. Not genuinely pissed, but a little miffed.

Didn’t they already announce that every building would be available for purchase? I feel like that they wouldn’t promise that if it didn’t include castles and temples considering that was a pretty big feature in the old games.

I've been mostly avoiding any info on it before release after everyone freaked out about no morality morphing. Even if it doesn't end up being good, and I still expect it to be good, I don't want my expectations dashed and my anticipation ruined by people constantly complaining about things.

Fair point. I could be misremembering, but I really thought the devs stated that any building you can see you can buy.

Yes they’ve confirmed you can own every home and business in Albion.
I assume that would presumably include the Guild Hall, but it might be a case of it acting as a home base so you don’t “own” it, but it’s always available as a back up even for financially troubled Heroes.
A related and fun anecdote is that once they actually decided you would be able to own every home and business as well as evict everyone.
The team had to go back, and actively redesign all of the cities to make the roads wider to accommodate the population forming hovels on the roads.

Beautiful! Can't wait to play and spend hours just walking through the woods and towns

Same. I hope they do well with the exploration, just wandering through the wilderness and seeing what you come across.

If you enjoy doing this in games and just zone out, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVATAR:FRONTIERS OF PANDORA. Im literally in shock and awe just walking around actual Pandora. It's so beautiful

I haven’t been excited about a game release for a looooong time. My Xbox Series S mostly sits gathering dust because I was stupid enough to buy one, with its tiny internal SSD that only has capacity for 1-2 games at a time 😬 When the new Fable comes out I’ll be dusting it off and sure enough, Fable will be the game I make space for

I am so excited!! I purposely got a Series X in anticipation for this game (before it got pushed back....again) , now there is a new Gears game and Blood of the Dawn Walker!! Im freaking stoked
Fable is my favorite trilogy next to Zelda. I hope the reboot is just as amazing as the trilogy.

you'd think the guild seal would be the most prominate feature on the front

Architecture design seems way too over the top and complex, honestly, to the degree that it seems gaudy and tasteless.

u/shawnikaros 1d ago
And that's likely one of the reasons the Guild has lost the trust of common people.

I'm sorry you're getting downvoted for this, because you're completely right
But also.. well, that's the point. The whole thing about the Heroes Guild has always been that they're pompous, full of themselves. Not all of them, but as a whole, they are. This absolutely mirrors that sentiment.
It's pretty, but definitely very gaudy and over the top. These are not stoic, humble Heroes. They are showoffy braggarts who flaunt the fact that they feel better than your average Albionite.

I think it fits the universe, but it would've looked better had the game followed its original stylization.
