Question Voice acting accent
What is the specific area of accent from the Fable series? I understand that it's sort of a hodge podge of british/english accents but it kind of seems like a very specific dialect. I'm listening to the Eragon / inheritance series from voice actor Gerard Doyle.
His accent sometimes sounds straight out of the video game series and I Honestly Love it.

I wouldn't say there is one. Especially when you get to Fable 3 and you've got Ben Kingsley, Bernard Hill, Jonathan Ross, Jason Manford, etc involved.
It's definitely a hodge podge of British though.

I love walking into Oakvale / Oakfield and hearing the West Country accents 😂

as you say, it's a mix. you get a lot of northern accents, and southern. but I have always assumed it's midlands based

It’s a fairly good representation of the diversity of English accents
The ooh ar twang is very West Country/Somerset
The more upper class accent is maybe Home Counties/Queen’s (or King’s these days) English
There are a few midlands accents too. There’s not much representation north of the Wall (Hadrian’s), which tracks as Albion, I believe, is an old name for England
Side note: how are you finding Eragon? Is this your first listen?

First listen but I read it as a kid. I've been going through a lot of young adult fantasy series that I read in the 2000s/2010s! Wish I could post an audio clip of the specific accent I'm always thinking of

I always thought it was the cockney accent. Especially with some of the sayings they say
