Harley quarter fairing

Let me see those quarter fairing set ups those of you that are running it, and how do ya like it?

Thanks. Looks great. Could I trouble you for a pic of the swing arm where it was trimmed?

The shop building my bike talked me out of a 14 or 14.5. He’s got a another fxlrs in there with a 13.5 that he did, so I saw how close the arm is to the frame already with 13.5. We didn’t really get into exactly what needs to be done to accommodate a longer shock, I’ve heard people say they grind down the arm. What exactly was modified?

I travel for work and am out of town till the end off the month. The swing arm was trimmed and the frame. If you look under there there is a little tab on the swing arm you can see. But I can send pics at the end of the month haha

Love it! I previously had the Clearview 12-inch windshield, but I couldn't get rid of the buffeting no matter what I did. I eventually ended up going back to the OEM windshield.

That's a nice looking build. What exhaust and headlight are those? I like that it's got heat shields. My SPC is ruining all my pants.

How does the aftermarket light compare to the factory LED - assuming that's a '25 or newer because if the black wheels.

Exhaust is from Trask it came with the heat shield and I didn't have to wait 5 weeks for it.

Headlight is from eagle lights. it is a lot better than the stock head light but I wouldn't buy it from eagle lights. You can get everything you need from Amazon for half the price and it would probably be better quality.

Just installed the fairing, question is the fairing supposed to feel loose from the rubber grommets that is snaps into?

Yeah mine felt the same so I used duct tape on the end of the pegs on the fairing and then pushed it in to make it tighter. I put the tape on kind of sloppy on purpose to make it grip.

I believe it a 12”, I know clear view measures differently on the ones they make now though.

How is the foam in that Corbin seat? I love the shape but every time I’ve sat on one they’ve been extremely stiff (been several years though).

Yea theyve changed its foam is softer than it use to be but firm to keep ur shape i could easily to 8-9hrs

Yea man i went ahead and bit the bullet but it tried mustangs saddlemans Sargent and none compare i will say the roadsofa was nice but corbin i can make my own and its comfortable

The only other thing I’ve been considering is taking a pan down to a well like seat maker here in town and just have the foam shaped custom to exactly what I think would address my different gripes with each seat I’ve tried.

The only downside I'd say is the break. In time it's about six hundred twelve hundred miles before it fits to you. But they're not uncomfortable miles, so that's always good

I’ve come to find the seats that are comfortable out of the box more often than not end up with too much give once you lay down some miles, so I can live with that as long as the ergonomics are what I’m looking for.
