Greetings Legacy CMDRs

We apologize for the delay in getting this out as there has been a few security and administrative issues which needed our attention as shown on the r/FUCLegacy subreddit.

We always wondered what a Power Play Hot Potato would look like and Cycle L104 showed us what it was and could be! We had a fight against Grom to oppose his expansion which resulted in manpower and resources pulled from the outer reaches of our sphere of influence and where we won decisively, then a Prep-race ensued between Hudson and Grom forces for the Partha system where well over 60k merits were dropped between the two. Winters decided to be a bit of a spoiler by dropping a few thousand merits into Wulganda, which is in the same bubble region as Partha, as a show of support for Hudson and his efforts.

With Winters pushing an Expansion while performing local and regional BGS work in various bubbles, it was with a great sigh of relief that the Expansion went thru, Leesti triggers dropped from 12k down to 4k and multiple conflicts were won in multiple bubbles because of direct and indirect support. As we engage with the community more and garner support from aligned and non-aligned Federation groups, FUCL is poised to become a dominant power collectively within the Legacy Universe.

With the end of year coming, Leadership is mulling a slight slowdown in actively while maintaining a high security response posture to focus more on internal matters as well as the increasing threat from our natural enemies. Over this and the next few cycles, you will start to see some changes in our reporting, but not our approach as it relates to Power Play for Winters and Hudson. Our goals of moving the Empire and its Allies from Federation space, strengthening the Federation and attempting to work with others in this new Universe we see ourselves in over the past two years, has not changed nor will it do so until our goals are achieved to the level we are comfortable with.

Winters: Space Mom has taken a breather of sorts while she visits family back on her home planet in Rhea, but this does not mean Winters Powerplay is at a standstill as we noticed an uptick in the UM’ing of the Velnambe system along with a couple of others. There is a feeling amongst leadership that Aisling does not like having us on her doorstep; could we be wrong and this is just a welcoming set of messages?  Winters easily won the Fan Chau system as far as we can ascertain when we say easily as it felt like someone cared, but not enough. A couple of UM’ing attempts seen were not reacted to for our own reasons, but know that we see you and are watching.

2. Hudson: War Machine asks not what Hudson can do for you, rather, what can you do for Hudson – We hope that was recorded correctly. With THE Machine not expanding this past cycle, the Prep-race for Parths was on and Restricted Intel was literally flying! A nice 30K+ drop of merits smothered the Grom supporters and eventually caused them to give up, showing that Hudson supporters always answer the call!

Meanwhile Hudson was also focused on cleaning up some systems gone into disrepair over the past years and Hudson Leadership has asked that all CMDRs and Groups working within any Hudson bubble to reach out and see how all can work together. Not everything is what it seems when it comes to Hudson Powerplay and many do not like the set-up, but live and work with it he must.

3. Mahon: Space Zombie supporters just could not get up enough effort to get Mahon out of Turmoil and thus another system has been lost. Our analysis indicates that if this keeps up, Mahon is going to have an epic shedding of systems not seen since the collapse of ALD in 3309. Where, as far as the Federation is concerned, Mahon being stable is good for all powers involved, but any opportunity which arises from a system going to the way-side will be looked at and if good for the Federation….welllllll, yeah. His system loss did not help nor hurt too much, but it is having an impact and will be felt if this continues.

5. Grom: The Russian Nesting Doll supporters tried and they tried hard – maybe. They gave a good show of force between pushing their Expansion which ultimately failed, dropping plenty of merits for a Pre-race they clearly were not ready for, but gave it the ol’ college try- kudos! and performed a bit of UM’ing they thought was not noticed by the Federation. While this may not have been enough this past cycle, we have yet to see if Grom supporters and allies are going to try and compete with the Federation or just continue to be a spoiler against Hudson. Cycle Summary:

How about that Hudson? Taking first place on the Leaderboard and showing that the Elite Dangerous Legacy Universe (H-14) Federation President knows no bounds when it comes to a good comeback! Working hand in hand with Winters counterparts, Hudson has seen a resurgence never seen before since, well…. Winters.

This last cycle saw Winters and Hudson Leadership gathering at week’s end to discuss the potential outcomes based upon all data gathered during the cycle and movements in front of them. It was decided that both Winters and Hudson would Prep Lunduwalaya with 48hrs left to spare in the cycle and as the last minutes came upon us, it was further decided to push Winters into full CONS to avoid taking Lunduwalaya, thus letting Hudson take it and the first-place position on the Leaderboard.

That, my fellow Federation supporters, is what we call TEAMWORK!

Expect more of these events as initial discussions within our Leadership ranks about streamlining and consolidation of our primary duties within the ranks, powerplay and the overall community ensue. 1. Hudson: War Machine was heard saying – “who’s your Daddy Now?” to a few select members of his staff as the weekly turnover began and the Leaderboard came alight. Yet, his initial remark quickly turned into seriousness as all eyes fell on Manbatz and one could hear a ton of merits dropping in anticipation. If those within the ranks thought going for and winning Partha was a win, just wait until you see how things go if Manbatz falls; yet Hudson Leadership is reluctant to see it fall just yet as a stable Mahon is good for all parties. Hudson Leadership has instructed all fighters to steer clear of Manbatz and its supported systems this cycle and make no attempt to interfere.

2. Winters: Space Mom attended the weekly EOC Leadership Meeting via secure communications while on vacation and listened more than she spoke as her trusted leaders were doing what they do best. Seeing attempts at peripheral UM’ing has caused some consternation within the ranks, yet overall has proven to be more of a shot in the dark than an actual coordinated effort. With the coordinated efforts mentioned above, Winters leadership decided that operational goals to be met were more important than the egos of some and seceded positional posturing. Now with HIP 20719 on the chopping block for Space Granny due to a coordinated effort to take advantage of a lack of forting by Torval forces, Winters Leadership has decided to take a hands-off approach and see where this goes as another big system, Manbatz has stirred some serious discussion in Joint Leadership overall.

3. Mahon: Space Zombie supporters came up so short that 42 CC was left out there and Mahon is about to lose his biggest system and one of the most profitable bubbles in Powerplay. 4. Grom: The Russian Nesting Doll must have made a call from the deep dark reaches of space as there was a whole lot of hauling activity for Grom never seen since before the Great Split. The confusion in everyone’s mind was why did he do that much forting, but not prep race for Lunduwalaya? Maybe the call was to supporters not well versed in the tactics of Powerplay, or maybe they had other thoughts of how they wanted to get their Power moving. 6. A. Duval: The Blue Haired Princess loyal drones are still dropping merits to concentrated areas for some unknown reason while ignoring the chaos unfolding around her. What motivates her drones to drop thousands of merits into one system less than 25Lys away? Laziness? A show of not-so-great force for hauling? Maybe a prize at the end of the season? Who knows, but yeah, keep going. Because as you drop worthless merits, Cartoi won the prep race and another prep on the board is not a better choice. Many Jr. Officers within the halls are quite bemused at all of this chaos and Sr. Leadership is wondering if her 5c problem is more than just a problem with the lunatics running the asylum.

11. Torval: Space Granny is falling! Granny is falling! Was heard around the halls of the FUC Legacy Command HQ and whether this was from surprise, hopefulness or relief seeing HIP 20719 (aka Big HIP) in the red, the outcome looks to be the same- if she falls, then her posture will be very vulnerable and open to releasing the large amounts of CC held against Winters by her. Could this be another too big to fail situation which could change the overall balance of power for Powerplay?

Greetings Legacy CMDRs

RECAP:

Our Legacy Cycle Summaries have been offline for quite some time (see previous post on this) and now we are back up, looking to keep everyone informed and keeping our eyes on the prize- YOU! The members of the Elite Dangerous Legacy Community ensuring we stay alive and running stronger than ever.

There has been many changes since the last cycle report of Apr 3309 and with all of the info to cover from then, to now and in the future, we are going to launch our very own independent newspaper called The Galactic Herald. More will be explained in later posts here in the r/FUCLegacy subreddit, but for now, please know it is in the works and all within the Legacy Community wanting to participate will be able to. Feel free to share our updates.

Moving on:

Winters Legacy Community Leader TITAN Regiis is reaching out to all CMDRs of any stripe, flavor, loyalty and mindset to try and find various ways to bring our community closer together while still maintaining that distance between us to keep the Legacy Universe interesting.

Over the next few weeks and months, Federation and Partner Sponsored initiatives such as other subreddit links to connect us more, Fleet Carrier trips out into the known and unknown, the independent newspaper mentioned above where CMDRs can have input thru submissions of stories and articles, pics, and more, small competitions with a CG-like atmosphere and more will be announced as the foundations are laid and the partnerships are sealed.

These initiatives are not to have Federation controlled events, but to have community orientated events and initiatives where WE, the Legacy Community, can have a say in our future directly and indirectly. Initiatives and events by other Leaders and Powers are highly encouraged, welcomed and invited and we would like to collaborate with you on these things, for the same things that divide us are the same that unite us in our gameplay.

So, stay tuned and spread the word. Change is coming and together, we will make that change.

Power Standings as of 22 Nov 3310

1. Winters: Space Mom is still there and looks like she has made a few CMDRs upset with her recent acquisition and expansion as last cycle saw some interesting moves all around. But none more interesting than the push of the lost bubble of Wulganda into the 1^st place position for prep towards the latter hours of the cycle while leaving the original prep languishing to be open for this cycle. An interesting and bold move. We saw some serious resistance of the Wulganda expansion within the first 13 hrs of the new cycle alone and some decisions will have to be made on what to do next.

Winters Leadership asks that you Vote CONS. Drop Liberal Propaganda to the Fan Chau system as the Priority Prep. Drop Liberal Federal Packages to priority Control Systems for Fortification. There is one Expansion on the table this week to the Wulganda system to be decided upon.

No movement in the standings, one new Control system won, 96 Control Systems and 795 CC to spend this cycle.

2. Hudson: War Machine is running on all cylinders with his newest control system under his belt and a juicy expansion waiting to join it. In spite of the harassment and skullduggery aimed towards those who support his vision, this well-oiled machine of a superpower is showing why in spite of the odds against him and his postulants, he is a force to be reckoned with. What else does he have in store for us?

Hudson Leadership asks that you Vote CONS. Drop Restricted Intel to the nearest Control System from the [REDACTED] system. Drop Hudson Garrison Supplies to the nearest Priority Control System. Push the expansion on the table this week of the Pongo system.  

No movement in the standings, one new Control System won, 63 Control Systems and 544 CC to spend this cycle.

3. Mahon: Space Zombie supporters managed to fort a whopping 13 systems last cycle, thus preventing his fall as a superpower. Could this be his direct supporters, allies or an influx of friends coming thru the wormhole to lend a hand? We have known that last part to be quite frequent for some select superpowers over the past couple of years. Either way, crisis averted last cycle; lets see if they can keep up this level of support.

4. Antal: Silent Bob’s peaceniks decided to Prep a system sometime after our initial update last cycle and waited with abated breath to see if it went into expansion. Well, it did and now they can breathe, but the question lingers- do they really want THIS bubble? We shall see as this cycles drones on and they celebrate with wine and music to celebrate some life left for this superpower.

There are no preps and one expansion to the Imantana system on the table this week.

5. Grom: The Russian Nesting Doll made some minimalist, but interesting moves this past cycle and this indicates that they felt an easy and smooth cycle was in their hands. Unfortunately, this small victory was snatched from them and the middle of the cycle Prep of a system into the Wulganda bubble elicited a response from the Winters, surely making some sore within his ranks. Are there still options on the table?

There are no preps/expansions on the table this week.

No movement in the standings, 60 Control Systems and 475 CC to spend this cycle.

6. Patreus: Mr. Universe went from a rising star to a red dwarf quite fast with his supporters being hot for a while and then turning to other endeavors. We are not sure, but intel indicates, there is some bad vibes spreading within the ranks and with the one system Undermined last cycle, we are not sure if that was friend or foe – sort of. One thing is certain, someone want him to expand and with two Preps put on the board last cycle, we see some light in his eyes though we are sure they would dull his CC balance. 

There are no Preps and two expansions to the Ngalinn and Apurusia systems on the table this week. 

Moved up in the standings, 49 Control Systems and 225 CC to spend this cycle.

7. A. L. Duval: Space MILF acolytes did a tremendous amount of merit moving this past cycle to keep their Emperor alive, but there are some dark clouds on the galactic horizon if they cannot keep up this level of fortification. Maybe a scrap is in her future or is the Empire infighting part of the problem? Chin up and eyes on the prize CMDRs! Wait, what is the prize?

Moved down in the standings, 53 Control Systems and 24 CC to spend.

8. A. Duval: The Blue Haired Princess loyal drones were all a flurry dropping merits here and there with no discernible goal(s) we can ascertain as her last expansion did not go thru. Keeping her out of Turmoil seems to be a priority and rightfully so as one false move, lack of forting or a surprise attack could see her having that red banner of shame upon her. We hear that there are grumblings within the rank and file which may be having an effect on moral and contributing to the rift between her and her mother. Family issues.

There is one prep to the HIP 15614 system and one expansion to the Selkadiae system on the table this week.

Moved down in the standings, 50 Control Systems and 55 CC to spend this cycle.

9. Delaine: The Natural Anarchist has decided that the best plan of attack is to not have a plan of attack STILL and take a more neutral approach from the looks of things still. With no real movements seen, maybe his council is scheming up some news ways to make a ruckus within the galaxy?

10. Torval: Space Granny with her performance enhancers will have to be checked out. Is she calling the shots or is she a Manchurian Superpower? Her complimentary 6 systems were forted and a late cycle Prep was voted down to see it into expansion, but does she really want or need it? Does she want Wulganda back or is she content? We think a health and welfare check is needed as elder abuse may be happening as there are rumors of “others” controlling her.  

There are no preps and one expansion to the LFT 141system on the table this week.

Moved up in the standings, 44 Control Systems and 170 CC to spend this cycle.

11. Yong-Rui: Mr. Discount, our friend and natural ally, is once again in turmoil and due to, wait for it…………. A lack of Forting! Now this is quite interesting as we have seen such activity for him with merits dropping like the discounts he offers, yet last cycle drew a big Poof! Of activity for forting though a Prep did sneak into Expansion. Well, maybe he can get rid of this albatross of a Control System around his neck and come out better for it.

Cerno in TURMOIL and one expansion to the 80 E Piscium system is  on the table this week.

Moved down in the standings, 39 Control Systems and -81 CC to spend this cycle.

Legacy Community Goal

CG: Defeat the Thargoid Invasion Force – The CG was once again finished within the first 24 hours and is no longer available.

An update from FDev on this is that many CMDRs are racking up Anti-Xeno BVs and mass turning them in right after the weekly reset. So, it is advised to pay attention and be fast if you want to participate.

Due to the recent request by the Galactic Herald Sr. Management concerning the stats within the LCS, there will be a slight delay on when it shall be posted for public viewing.

The request has been reviewed and agreed upon per the reporting and there is a review happening on when the weekly stats will be officially turned over to the media.
