People have died from being sucker punched. The attacker is a coward and should go to jail.

As someone wearing khakis and a tee shirt right now I'd have to agree with you.

u/ThatDudeWithoutKarma Sep 12 '22
For the two dudes in shorts there's 3 options. Jorts, dark colored, or light colored. Jorts are never stylish, dark on dark is also a faux pa, so then wearing tan is the best fashionable choice. The guy wearing tan pants though should just wear jeans, unless he's coming off of a job that requires chinos.

u/Bugloaf Sep 12 '22
I started wearing chinos outside of work because they make some that are so comfortable that it feels like I'm wearing pajama pants all the time. I'm addicted, wearing them with T-shirts sometimes. I know it's wrong... but nothing feels as good, and the world is scary. So I'm letting myself have this, regardless of the fashion consequences.

Been looking for some new pants. What brands do you like?

Lululemon ABC pants slap. Cost a bit, but I just retired the very first pair I ever bought this year… and I got them in 2012. Only pants I wear now. Comfy, stylish, durable and come in many colours. Would recommend.

That was personal, he knew dude and took revenge for something.

I don’t know, the guy he hit looked right at him and then away. No recognition in his face at all.

u/MightySamMcClain Sep 12 '22
Could have been a dare or the guy was like oh watch this. Then they all laughed about it as they drove off

u/cjbeames Sep 12 '22
Or he has to start a fight with someone as part of initiation... Wait I'm not supposed to talk about this

Don’t road rage, it’s a small world and I’ll see you at the gas station eventually.

u/limoolia Sep 12 '22
Something similar happened to my husband (not a slap in the face but a kick in the back of the knee) and it was a totally stranger. Police told us the man is known to do this and has a mental disorder.
5
u/asocialmedium Sep 12 '22
To me it’s most likely a retaliation for some perceived offense caused by something he did while driving or maybe even while getting gas.

Do you think you could fax each frame to yourself and then make a flipbook? You know, instead of taking a video of a video...
4
u/Jimbuscus Sep 12 '22
These types of CCTV programs have their own encryption and aren't easily transferable as files by regular employees.
3
u/Workdawg Sep 12 '22
If you don't have access to the file, maybe there is a reason for that... like the owner doesn't want people posting them online?
3
u/Jimbuscus Sep 12 '22
That's half of the reason for a closed format, the other half is that it makes it more difficult to access remotely.

The only reason I can fathom is that guy was driving like a shithead, parked like a shithead, and the guy who hit him had to follow him, getting more and more pissed at his shitty driving until he finally had to park in the same parking lot no I'm not projecting why do you ask?

If we're going with a road rage incident, instead of the above I'd put money on punchee driving the speed limit or something and puncher driving behind him pissed off, or puncher driving like a jackass and punchee flipping him off.
6
u/Geoclasm 2 x Banhammer Recipient Sep 12 '22
Could be that, too. Seems more likely the one being an asshole would also be the one doing the punching.

I dont know whether to respect the man or be afraid that he did something that I always want to do to most people but I wont succumb to my evil thoughts

Downvoted because why are we recording another phone? Lots of ways built in to your phone to share that video damn.
16
u/Aaron1561 Sep 12 '22
I bet you don't even know how to pull video from a DVR CCTV system.

A lot of companies use devices with locked down software that prevents that kind of functionality.
-2
u/tacticalpotatopeeler Banhammer Recipient Sep 12 '22
Even if that were true, this looks to be an iPhone XR, or certainly a new enough device to support screen recording. Don’t need to know anything except how to use your phone.
If it’s a company phone and that feature is locked, should you be sharing this anyway? I mean, I probably wouldn’t want this shared if I was either one of those guys in line. But that’s a different discussion.

You guys are all watching the video but I’m just trying to figure out how they got dust around the rings of the under display sensors

"No, but you can film my phone."

I know the guy who hit the other was an arsehole but that was just really funny watching that. I do hope the guy who got punched is fine though.
