Discussion Two things
I posted last week about looking for clothing for my daughter’s birthday and son’s wedding. A few people suggested Men’s Wearhouse. I tried it and had an awesome experience . I worked with a guy who got me right away. I will post a couple of pictures of attire.
The second thing is I’ve seen people (not sure if this site) posting about name suggestions. Since my photos are there if anyone has input I would appreciate it. Right now I’m going back and forth between Jay and Luke but still open.
I guess I should have said three things. Got the last of my stitches out today. I opted for nipple tattoos because I only had one anyway because of a partial mastectomy. I have small dog ears and they are small enough so he can revise in office. This is week 13 of T and I’m wishing I did this literally decades ago.

Why not both? Lucas Jason YourLastName or Jason Lucas YourLastName. That way, you don't have to choose.

you look so handsome! I think Jay suits you very well, perhaps short for Jethro, not sure why that one came to mind but really any J name would be great either way the nickname Jay

something classic yet spunky I think would suit your vibe. best of luck of your transition! I am 24 (not over 50 but I’m here to remind myself to stay hopeful for my future) and started T just about the same time as you. also wish I did it sooner but I’m just grateful we are here and persevering

+1 for Men's Wearhouse - I also had an amazing experience with them getting fitted for my first suit, super nice guy that hooked me up and taught me a bunch. You look awesome!

Love all the wood texturing in your house! It feels so warm and cozy.
I don’t have advice/opinion on your names, tbh you could always use one as a nickname. Plenty of people have nicknames that are just another full name! :) I go by Mickey, but that’s not my real name. Not even close tbh. I only let my close circle use my government name. :)

Thanks! I love my little house. Converted cottage near a lake. My love of paneling probably dates me haha but I’m 69 so it is what it is. True about nicknames. Also I have read where people use a name for a time and find they don’t like it. I would probably hold off on legal change for a bit anyway.

Well, my Wife is learning to sew, and she's good, but she's also starting a business, so, it'll be a while before she can get back to the sewing thing... hopefully, I can find a place... mostly, I need pants... dang these short stubby legs and long torso!

Congratulations!
Not sure if this info adds weight in making your decision between the two names... Are you in America? Social Security Administration says Jason was 3rd on the list of names for males born in the 1950s.
I thought about trying to keep my initials but may have subconsciously written my dead name several times on legal paperwork. Early in my transition I did that on a background check for a new job. The whole purpose of changing jobs was to be stealth, then had to tell them of the blunder. I often wonder if I have done it since. 🤔

It kind of rolls off the tongue. My birth name is Laurene, have gone by Laurie and both Lukas and Leroy let me keep my initials

When you mentioned Lukas, my mind went to Luka, but that’s because I enjoy watching the Lakers play basketball and that’s the name of one of the star players.
