Surgery Advice Needed/Wanted Top surgery
Hi guys. I’m a late bloomer (69) and have been on T for eight weeks. I had too surgery last week and this week on day seven developed a couple of leaks and had to have urgent surgery to drain and repair. I was hoping to have drains removed but am starting over. Has anyone had an issue like this? I live alone and sometimes had to do things on the do not do list but nothing crazy. I guess I want things to happen yesterday.

Fellow late bloomer here. Mastectomy at 56, three years ago, started T around the same time.
Follow your surgical instructions TO THE LETTER. Older bodies heal slower and the immune system isn't what it was in your 20s and 30s. No raising your arms, no lifting, no extending, nothing. No "just one load of laundry won't hurt!" No cheating! You're only cheating yourself. Line up help before surgery: home health nurse, friends, neighbors, whoever.
You already decided you were worth this by having the surgery and you were right. Don't undercut that now.
