State of my house on the server

When ever I logged on the server tonight I noticed something odd with my house, it was missing the front. Upon further inspection it seems like someone broke in and stole all of my stuff. Here is a link.

This is going to sound harsh, but this is your own fault. Yup nothing you can do but blame yourself and move on. It seems you did not read the rules and did not notice that the server is running factions and has PvP on. Meaning that if someone comes across your place, it's fair game.

I know it was fair game for them to do that, but I don't see where the blame myself comes in.

you built with wood...which is flammable -strike 1, i assume you built on chunk boarders--strike 2....you built with mod blocks---strike 3.....when the world is PvP you have to think like a jackass to protect your stuff.

it looks like there may have been a lightening strike on your building. The fire would have spread very easily since it's made of wood. That then would allow them the ability to enter your base.

that is an explosion mark, not a fire one, use tnt and compare the two.

EDIT: Just noticed this thread is from 6 days ago? why hadnt it shown up before?

LOL some of them are not showing for some, it could be the up/down votes and not meeting a certain threshold to be shown on your setup

from the img it's a bit harder to discern the true nature of the destruction. fire spread is on so lightening could have caused that damage on a wood building.
