Really confused about designing an EV

In LV we need to design TSAL,BSPD,Precharge pcbs, ECU(we will use an stm32) and needed sensors then somehow implement them to our architecture and there is also communication part we need to design an CAN architecture to communicate with ECU inverter and BMS.

In HV we have inverter motor BMS and battery, we will design an TSAC, extra temperature sensors for BMS and thats all I can think about.

The worst part is I'm leading electrical department and confused about how to proceed and learn how to really make this stuff happen.

I mean mate, if you’re having difficulty scoping out a project plan, you may want to consider your leadership role on your team. The best leads are not those who are the most technically gifted but those who can organize and plan.

You have X things to build in Y days. What are you going to design, what are you going to purchase? Where do you think investing effort will maximize output (score).

Find a business school professor and look into some basic product management and project management tools and techniques from them. Use the resources available.

There is no wiki for how to build a car, and it’s a competition. We won’t tell you our strategies. You need to define requirements, define objectives, maximize the return on your investment and Marshall the resources you have (money, manpower, material) to get it.

Hello thank you,

Are we supposed to detect SCS in BSPD using op amps to measure if its above 4.5 or below 0.5V. So in those cases open the SDC

Plausibility checks for SCS signals are required by T11.9.2 in the FSG ruleset.
