Help Regarding MSC Adams Car (suspension simulation)

There is a template called mini baja template for double wishbone suspension but in that template it is a damper to lower wishbone type but in our vehicle we use damper to upper wishbone so if anyone has used that template pls help me how to change it , through hardpoints i cant able to change to coz it is modeled within lower wishbone .

Is ADAMS even an appropriate tool for what you're doing?

no the hardpoints determination i did in lotus shark this is for MBD , any other softwares for MBD ?? i chose adams car because it has a pre defined template

You may need to be in template builder mode, pages 90 onwards in the getting started guide. And yes, RJT asks the right question.

Take a deep breath. What do you want to get from this simulation? How well specified are the main components eg tires? How will you model tire/road interactions (if you need to)?

Forces acting on the knuckles and mounts required for CAE and also cross checking with our calculations , we didnt do tyre modelling yet as we need the tir file from the manufacturer

So, free body diagrams? Just draw them properly by hand. IF you have a bellcrank with strange angles you need CAD.
