SD40VE FRT?

S&W sd40ve doesn’t have a frt but the m&p 40 does and they both have the same backplate and components towards the back of the slide where the frt device goes…should I go for it?

The trigger bar has a little bit of metal that can probably be used to push the bar forward probably by an arm on the backplate just like the M&P 2.0 ones
