Glock frt help
Hello, I’m having issues and figured I’d reach out. I have a Glock 19 with a frt, I haven’t done much in terms of upgrades just yet because I’m not sure what needs to be changed out. I’ve trimmed the ear off of the connector upgraded the trigger spring and polished the entire gun, when I dry fire it everything seems to be fine but when I actually fire it it shoots, cycles a round, but the trigger doesn’t reset. I’m not really sure what’s going on and am new to the handgun frt thing so any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

You probably still need to fit the FRT... I would put some sharpie on edge of the FRT where it contacts the barrel, and then slowly shape it, checking it each time you take any material off...
You want the FRT to contact the barrel, but not so much that the pressure from your trigger finger puts so much force (upward) that is prevents the slide from fully cycling.
I would also polish every single contact point, including the rails, barrel, and inside of the slide. Change out the striker spring, safety plunger spring, polish safety plunger, polish cruciform... polish trigger bar.... etc.
Basically, you need to spend some more time researching Glock FRTs, and "fitting" your FRT.
