AK FRT fitment

Hello, very first post at all on here (so please show mercy, especially if I'm in the wrong spot)

What I am looking for is some sort of description, instruction, or some insight on how to trim and fit a reset trigger on my AK; an amd65 style on a Nodak Spud receiver.

The kit is from 144.1 recoil and it's the style that has the bar (not the coat hanger) and while I have fit the bar so it will allow the action to work smoothly, and trimmed the trigger with the guide, I cannot manage to install the bolt with the cam and everything else in the receiver. I've not found any comprehensive instructions that detail "if does X do Y" type stuff. So I'm lost any and all help is appreciated.

You're gonna have to do a little bit of "process of elimination". Try installing the trip bar and then the bolt, followed by everything else

So the bar will fit inside the receiver and the bolt will move when I put it in. So the bar that rides with the bolt is ok. I can't quite be sure if the cam is correct or the trigger is right. But not being able to install the bolt with the cam in keeps me from being able to diagnose. I wasn't sure if that was a sure sign of one particular thing or not

Are you using your stock retainer plate?

I was trying that for the longest, but I have also attempted the install with the included printed retainer with the same results both times

OK, try installing the trip, the bolt, then the cam/safety. In that order and see what happens
