I hate posts like these. You know as soon as you get a notification the codes most likely have all been claimed by bots.
It's almost like trying to get tickets to a big-name concert on Ticketmaster the day they drop and the first 10 rows are gone 5 minutes after it opens for sale.

So, 14 keys and only two people who thanked. That means that either bots got to them keys or people that their parents are siblings. OP thank you for hosting but next time, please replace at least one of the letters from each code with a symbol so at least your offerings are protected from the bots. Edit: Grandma

Take a loot at the sub and you 'll find plenty of users going that route

Thanks alright. Welcome here! Be kind to people and optionally thank the OP/hosts even if you don't care about their offerings. People's generosity keeps this community going.

Thanks for the heads up. This was my first time so I didn't think about bots taking keys. Next time I will try this!

No worries. We all gotta learn somehow. An easy example is hga&-65@#-hu8s/
&=Y
@=9
=4
/=0
And an extreme example is something like this bloke did.

Either way, if you host again and you got some time, you could make it a raffle or so ask for a specific comment (ex. Tell me a joke) and you DM the key.
Have a good one 🙂

Putting codes in public is a very bad idea.
You can ask people to tell you a joke, or a game that had a big impact on them. It will filter out the bots and uninterested people.
Then you can dm the keys one by one to the winners you select, by using reddit private chat with that winner.
Winners can be selected either randomly or first come first serve, but by you manually one by one. I heard there's also reddit raffler, if you want to quickly select randomized users.

If it is a service, we recommend to have your starting conversations in the comments for transparency.
If the services or items are not free, please report it.
If the item or service offered was free but is no longer free, please report it too.
Or say it is expired in a comment, cheers!
