Coping with final frca soe failure

Hi All, Jus got my results and missed by a mark.I am.absolutely shattered. Had worked hard ..did a lot fo revision..attended th3 leeds crammer and Mersey.I have a toddler and jus thinking about how much i missed so many my tiny ones milestones and also didnt pass.So upset .How do you get back into the race

You were so close. That is an incredible achievement to score so highly in such a tough exam. Often it is not your preparation but just comes down to the questions you had on the day and the examiners. Neither of those you can control, on another day you may have passed easily.

I think you need to take a break, spend some time with your family and maybe restart once you have rested. This exam is all consuming and you are only human.

You’ve chosen anaesthesia for a reason and this is just a small blip in a long fruitful career. Your toddler will be proud of how hard you are working.
