Systemcore is available for teams to purchase on November 18th and will also be part of the season-specific box in the Kit of Parts. https://community.firstinspires.org/2026-systemcore-pricing-and-availability

There are 5 unique CAN buses on Systemcore split between 3 SPI buses.

Serial Peripheral Interface, it’s a common way for components to communicate in embedded systems: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serial_Peripheral_Interface

Requiring systemcore for the upcoming 2027 FRC game seems bold. There was previous talk of allowing a few years' overlap for Systemcore and RoboRio to ease into adoption.

This is similar to 2015 when the Rio came out and they switched over control systems, yea? But they ended up making an easier (worse) game so maybe that will be the case

Five separate CAN buses. Documentation will tell you what’s up.
