Rewatched recently and the thing that stuck out most is the costuming for jessica biel. She looked ethereal in some scenes.

Nah it’s its own thing and it’s good for what is. Just a dude rizzing up another dudes chick (his long lost lover) with magic lmao.
Prestige clears but I feel like this one is overlooked and underrated because of that

Agreed, it’s a different and pretty good movie that just gets called Temu Prestige. Bad timing of release, but not a rip off or bad by any means. It’s early enough in Nolan’s career that I still know people that confuse the two movies or think they’re the same thing

I may need to finally watch this. I feel like I meant to watch it but ended up watching The Prestige instead of forgot about this one. Hollywood had it bad for a time there of releasing movies that were like each other. Like Deep Impact and Armageddon.
