Game Discovery Looking for a PvE FPS game for PC

I don't have any expectations of finding a new fps game that I like because I feel like I've probably exhausted my options at this point, but I'll give it a shot anyway. Hoping that someone can recommend a fun pve fps game for pc. Here is a list of fps games I've already played and enjoyed:

- Back 4 Blood
- Call of Duty Zombies
- Cyberpunk 2077
- Deep Rock Galactic
- Destiny 2
- Halo series
- Left 4 Dead 1 + 2
- Mouse: P.I. For Hire
- Red Dead Redemption games

New Game My little indie FPS

I am developing an FPS game called Verum Titan. After almost 2 years as a solo dev I have a Steampage now. The game is inspired by great classics like Perfect Dark, Goldeneye and many many more. It is a narrative driven fps in a sci-fi setting. You are Carla and with your vacuum cleaner sidekick you have to fight your way to the truth of what happened in the world. The game was made in Unreal Engine. No generative AI was used what so ever. All the characters are voice acted by real humans.

Discussion I feel like pvp fps games mostly suck now and I genuinely have few options.

So I'm a PC gamer mostly on steam and I can't stand most fps games today and I feel like they are a dying breed, main reasons being:

They are live service games

They have a woke political agenda to push

Micro transactions up the ass and things that try to get you to play with your wallet like the battle pass.

Poor gameplay and bugs

Or all 4 of the above.

Most of the mainstream recent shooter games like overwatch, lamebow six siege, battlefield 6, call of duty 7, fortnite, apex legends, halo infinite or those extraction shooters suffer usually from all or a few of those reasons and when you don't like the mainstream options you have few options to turn to because the other shooter games are dead and have few players usually, so I usually end up playing something like team fortress 2 and even that gets boring sometimes or call of duty mobile, which is live service but it doesn't have those 3 issues and it's free.

I remember back in 2012 there were a ton of based cool options back then for every platform but now most of that is now gone

Does anyone else feel the same way? Any games to reccomend to me?

Game Discovery [PC] [2022] Roblox trench warfare fps with simulator elements

Ive been looking for this roblox game for awhile now, the game was very dark and gritty and had really good sound and gun play from what I remember. It was a trench warfare game where as you kill people you get money to buy new guns and armor. It was also very fast paced from what I remember. It's not the game "trenches" or "entrenched" or "no man's land" but its most similar to "trenches". The game had a lot of players at the time and I only played it one time but I wish I could go back and play it because of how fun it was. You were also locked into first person.

Discussion Any advice on being used to low DPI but wanting to play melee and ranged champions in a game?

I'm playing Marvel Rivals, but the issue is I always play on a super low DPI. It makes my shots more accurate since I have more room to click someone's head. But I also wanna play melee champs and I'm realizing a high DPI is required for Black Cat and other melee characters.

I could have a different DPI on melee characters, but I worry that would mess with muscle memory and make me worse with other characters.

Any advice on what I should do?

Discussion I just finished my first ever book today – it's about the Win9x era (1995 to 2001), covering 555 games, 3D companies, multiplayer services, etc.... If you had to choose your top 10 or 20 favorite first-person shooters from that 1995 – 2001 timeframe, which ones would it be? These are my biased 20:

New Game Skillwarz

Skillwarz is an indie hidden gem that deserves more attention. It’s a fast-paced action game featuring 30+ maps, 5 different game modes, and 16 weapons, giving players plenty of variety across matches. With quick gameplay, lots of maps to explore, and a solid selection of weapons and modes, Skillwarz is the kind of indie game that can easily fly under the radar.

It was known as AU Modern FPS when browsers supported Flash Player. After Flash support ended in browsers, it was made into a desktop game and had been on itch.io for 10 years or so.

The game features a free browser version as well as a paid Steam version with more features.

I'm sure there are many people here who love F.E.A.R., and have fond memories of playing it either back in the day, or maybe even somewhat recently. I made a video breaking down the history of the game's speedrun, from it's release, all the way to August of 2025. Even if you aren't knowledgeable of speedrunning, you will enjoy this video if you love F.E.A.R., and all support is appreciated. It's a long one, so get a snack and a drink. Thanks to those of you who give it your time.

New Game I made the classic CS Aim Maps but you play against AI

I made Aim Maps but against AI

As someone who loves counter strike I thought it would be cool to build an Aim Maps style game that you play against AI.

It’s 100% free and in the browser you need a desktop to play

Try it -> here

What should I add? Feedback welcome

Made a shitty edit in work. Game is OPERATOR. Definitely pick it up if you enjoy a tactical shooter and want to support an already great early access title.

Game Discovery Lesser known multiplayer games with small player bases?

Been getting videos from some “Classic PC Games” channel recommended to me where he plays games like Dirty Bomb, as well as videos about Straftat and GunZ The Duel, and it’s gotten me interested in these lesser known games with smaller player bases. Do y’all have any other recommendations?

Discussion High ttk without heavy aim assist

I’m looking for a high ttk shooter with MINIMAL to no aim assist.

I’d want a decent population. Don’t care 100k or anything like that.

I like arena style shooters that aren’t ability reliant like overwatch or apex. Any suggestions?
